“I will end my term on April 2nd”, Senegal's president pledges

Speaking on the public broadcaster Thursday (Feb. 22), Macky Sall has pledged to step down when his term ends. No new date has been announced for the Feb. 25 presidential polls. Protests throughout the weekend will ask the President to hold elections quickly.
