After taking charge of the CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023 match between Guinea-Bissau and Nigeria, Moroccan Bouchra Karboubi made history by joining Rwanda’s Salima Mukansanga who was the first woman to referee a men's Afcon match in Cameroon.
