Africa: About 51 million lives saved through immunization programme - WHO

A landmark study to be published by The Lancet reveals that global immunization efforts have saved an estimated 154 million lives over the past 50 years. According to the WHO Africa bureau, an estimated 51.2 million lives have been through vaccines on the continent in the same period.
