ANC leans towards unity government as uneasiness gains grassroots supporters

South Africa's first party is favouring a unity government over a direct coalition, party officials said Thursday (Jun. 6). Any unity government plan would still have to be taken to those other parties, some of whom are more opposed to each other than ANC.
