As BRICS leaders meet, Ramaphosa denounces “collective punishment of Palestinian civilians”

President Ramaphosa chaired Tuesday a virtual extraordinary meeting on the sitution in the Mideast.The bloc urged Israel and Hamas to "exercise maximum restraint" and 'reaffirmed that a lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict could only be achieved by peaceful means".
