Britain to loan looted artefacts to Ghana

PM Rishi Sunak's spokesperson said the UK expected Ghana to return the artefacts which include 13 pieces of Asante royal regalia - at the end of the loan period. The items were stolen after British troops looted the royal palace in Kumasi during the Anglo-Asante wars of 1873-74 and 1895-96
