Madagascar incumbent Rajoelina “confident in the choice of the people” as he votes

He is one of 13 candidates vying for the top post, but 10 of the others have called on voters to shun the elections, complaining of an "institutional coup" in favour of Rajoelina. If a run-off election is scheduled on December 20, it is not clear if it will be necessary.
