Nigeria’s chief of army staff visits scene of deadly drone strike

Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja visited local community leaders on Dec. 05 to apologise for the accidental strike and seek an enquiry to prevent similar mistakes. Emergency officials and residents say 85 people, many of them women and children, were killed.
