Senegal to hold snap elections on November 17th after President Diomaye Faye dissolves parliament

Six months after being elected Senegal's President, Bassirou Diomaye Faye has dissolved the country's parliament, announcing snap elections to be held on November 17th. He says not holding a majority in parliament has prevented his party from passing sweeping reforms to improve living standards.
